A higher education student affairs professional, Dave specializes in advising students on career development, major and career exploration, and job search strategies. Interested in connecting students with opportunities to work, intern, or volunteer abroad, or otherwise helping each student meet their professional goals, Dave works to build strong partnerships with students and employers, and to help each meet their individual needs.
Dave is a Master of Education graduate from Kent State University’s Higher Education Administration & Student Personnel program, with an undergraduate degree in English and Theatre from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois.
Dave works as a career specialist in the Career Services Center at Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. Prior to his time at Ashland, Dave previously served as a resident director and graduate assistant at the University of Mount Union, an intern at the American University in Bulgaria, and an admission counselor at Saint Xavier University.
Outside the office, Dave is a member of the Leadership Ashland Steering Committee, helping administer a community program that enhances leadership skills, connects emerging leaders with community assets, and creating new opportunities for local leadership and service. As a user of open-source software, Dave works to give back to the open-source community however he can.
Dave lives in Ashland, Ohio with his two servers and various devices.
